From the Homeland 'Security' Blog

Have no fear, air travelers. Janet Nincompoopitano's Homeland "Security" officials are on the job, keeping you safe from...well, let's let them tell you about it, shall we?

What’s the biggest threat to an airplane? A knife? A pistol? While these items can be dangerous, with hardened cockpit doors installed after 9/11, an improvised explosive device poses the biggest threat to aviation security today.
Wrong-o, ye sultans of 'security'. The biggest threat to aviation security today is a holy warrior hellbent for Allah with an improvised explosive device. You'd know that if you weren't so obsessed with the stuff--the shoes, the belts, the bottles of shampoo, etc.--that comprises the mise-en-scène of your pointless security theatrics.
