Clueless Barack Obama Thinks His "Messaging" Is the Problem

As he explained to the New Yorker's David Remnick,
the issue has been the inability of my message to penetrate the Republican base so that they feel persuaded that I’m not the caricature that you see on Fox News or Rush Limbaugh, but I’m somebody who is interested in solving problems and is pretty practical, and that, actually, a lot of the things that we’ve put in place worked better than people might think.
Actually, Mr. President, your message (about the need for an e'er bigger government to "solve" the problems--hello, Obamacare) has come through loud and clear. The "Republican base" has heard it--and rejects it.

What is it about you that makes it so difficult to comprehend that those who disagree with you "get" your message just fine (and that Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, who merely echo their views, have nothing to do with it)?
