FYI: I'm Taking a Breather to Attend to Urgent Puppy Duties

As I expected, our new arrival is proving to be a bit of a handful (as, in my experience, they always do early on). Please forgive me if I take a day or two--or more--off to try to get adjusted to our new reality, including those "delightful" 3 a.m. bathroom breaks (the puppy's, that is; mine, at least, do not require outdoor toileting).
