I have it on good authority that there's a public Elementary School in north Toronto where a fifth-grade student likes to shout "Kill the Jews!" during recess, and has been doing so for quite some time—and school authorities refuse to do anything about it. (I'm told they tread softly at all times because they fear parents' wrath more than anything.)
Does anyone have any doubt, though, that something would be done—and pronto—were the kid shouting, say, "Kill the Gays!" or "Kill the Muslims!" or "Kill the Black People!" on school grounds?
